Alex Chastayne-Donovan

Alex, married to JT has a hard time dealing with his family.  Pissed at some of the odd things he’s witness to, Alex doesn’t always agree with the way the Chastayne family does things. Doing his best to dissuade his husband from continuing the things that he participates in, Alex wonders how long his marriage will last. Being pushed to the side at times, Alex bites his tongue and tries to hold on to hope that his husband will turn away from his family and embrace only him and their sons Caleb and Mason.

JT Chastayne-Donovan

JT, doing his best to leave his past behind, has a hard time doing it.  Trying not to depend on his family, JT tries to do things on his own, but tends to turn to them for help in the end. In a relationship with someone that his family forbade him to be with, JT tends to get overlooked when he’s around them. With the actions of his family downing his relationship, JT has problems keeping his love life and family together.

Hillary, JT’s spoiled and bratty sister has a habit of getting what she wants, when she wants it. Known as a scandalous ‘call girl’ in the public eye, Hillary has spent time with numerous prominent city officials. Using her ‘power’ to stay ahead of the others, Hillary witnesses something that endangers her life. A secret of hers found out, someone else tries to get what she has by causing problems for her within the Chastayne family.

Ashley, youngest daughter of the Chastayne family tends to try to keep her nose clean of trouble, but lands in the middle when she defends JT’s lifestyle and actions to their father. Always in the spotlight because of her career as a lounge singer, Ashley comes under scrutiny by her family because she won’t work in the family business.

James Chastayne

James, the controlling factor of the Chastayne family does what he can to keep his family high-classed. Not being truthful about what the family business really is, it’s not hard to figure out. Spending plenty of time with questionable people throughout his life, James is thrown into jail. His family and business out of control, James does what he can to get his family back under control. Putting someone in control of the family, James runs things from the sidelines while others take the blame for the Chastayne name.

Geraldine Crestmore-Chastayne

Geraldine, head of the Chastayne family tends to use her children to get what she wants out of her husband. Never wanting to be a mother, Geraldine allowed boarding schools, nannies and others to raise her kids. Doing her best to bend the law to her wishes, Geraldine keeps her family close and her connections closers. Coming face-to-face with someone from her past, Geraldine uses what she knows to gain more power.

Dylan Chastayne

Dylan, adopted into the Chastayne family at a very young age has issues
with his family when his sexual lifestyle comes into play. Not fully agreeing with everyone on how he’s living his life, Dylan becomes a bit reckless and draws too much attention to the family name. Putting the family’s business in the open, Dylan’s life is in danger when others in the Chastayne family want him taken out.

Justin Randall

Justin Randall

Justin, a friend of JT and Alex’s is caught up in some drama with Hillary when it is suspected that he’s sleeping with her. Not wanting his real secret to get out, Justin allows the world to believe that he’s having relations with this woman. Having this information used against him, Justin tires quickly of the drama and remedies the problem. His family and friends not really happy with him, Justin fears he made a big mistake with his recent actions.

Ely, once in a relationship with a gay man and feels he’s seen the error of his ways, tries to cease the opportunity to help cure those that have befallen the sins of the flesh. Called to James aid in an attempt to help JT, the reverend changes his mind after something else is brought to light, that he thought was still in the dark.

Alan, secretly in a relationship with Dylan Chastayne puts up with way too much for what he’s getting. Not happy with the things he has to do to be with Dylan, Alan gives him an ultimatum and waits for the changes. Being found out by another member of the Chastayne family, Alan is made an offer he can’t refuse. Telling Dylan about the offer he’s given, Alan steps back and watches what happens.

Julie, a friend of JT and Alex’s tends to pop up when someone in the Chastayne family needs secret medical attention. Knowing some of the secrets of the Chastayne family, there have been times when Julie’s life has been threatened in fear of she may be bought off by the police or the media.

Gregory Sheldon, an on-call doctor/surgeon for the Chastayne family has his hands full when certain people in the family get hurt mysteriously.  Doing his best not to disclose any information about their injuries, Gregory and his wife are held to a strict code of silence when it comes to the Chastayne family. Letting his duties lag at his legitimate place of practice, Gregory is always put on notice by his boss. His boss finding out his secret, Gregory has to make a choice of what he’s going to do, be a doctor or be a lackey for the Chastayne family.

Dr. Ari Campbell

Dr. Ari Campbell

Ari Campbell, another on-call doctor for the Chastayne family also has his hands full dealing with certain members of the family that tend to get hurt mysteriously. Going against his better judgment and the legal advice of others, Ari tends to use the information he knows about the Chastayne family to extort money for his own personal gain. Going as far as to dip his own fingers into what’s going on with the Chastayne family, Ari goes too far with his actions.

Dahlia, Geraldine’s niece pops up from time to time to lend a hand in Geraldine’s schemes. Creating a problem that she can’t solve for herself, Dahlia goes to James for help. Not liking the price of James’ help, Dahlia causes some extra drama in the Chastayne family that leads to something drastic happening. Disappearing for some time, Dahlia pulls some strings to keep her nose in the Chastayne family business.

Donna, Geraldine’s best friend and the madam of the Chastayne’s biggest
brothel in town, has a secret that she doesn’t want the rest of the world to know about. Doing her best dealing with the choices she’s made in her life, Donna tries to drink the pain away of her guilty heart, mind and soul. Her secret found out, Donna does some things she’s not proud of to keep her secret, secret. Getting a visit from the law, Donna goes on the offensive and asks an unlikely ally for help.

Kevin, eldest of the Chastayne children returns from his paternal exile to wreak havoc in all things Chastayne. Everyone believing he was actually dead, Kevin used his absence from the spotlight to make a name for himself, elsewhere. Making his existence known to a few members of his family, Kevin makes a play to take control of the Chastayne family business. James in the dark about some things, wonders where his son has been all this time and starts digging. Finding out what Kevin was really up to, James makes a play of his own.

Actually falling in love with Kevin, Janet faces a bigger problem when she’s found out.

Keegan, a medical intern at the hospital where Dr. Sheldon works, has an issue that he doesn’t want to deal with.  Going to someone else for help, Keegan soon learns that he should’ve left well enough alone.  Taking a chance, Keegan shares some information that causes a bigger issue for himself and others.
