The Chaos Factor – Chapter 2

Chapter 2 — A Kidnapping

Feb 23, 1996 – Swainsboro, GA – East Georgia College – The Computer Center

“So, what are you going to be doing this weekend John?”  A young lady asked, tapping JT on his shoulder as he looked up from the computer terminal where he sat.

“I don’t really know,” JT replied with a frown.  “I think I have to work, but I don’t really know yet, since the manager hasn’t put the schedule out.”

“Well do you want to hang out with us?”  The young lady asked as JT shook his head.

“No thank you, I would rather spend my time watching TV, not being around with you two young ladies,” JT replied, laughing at the look on the girl’s face.  “I know what you two be doing when others aren’t around.”

“What?  What’re you talking about man?”  The young lady asked as JT shook his head and then smiled.  “What are you smiling for man?”

“What you two be doing isn’t a secret,” JT stated, looking over at the girl.  “Besides, I don’t think I would be much fun to hang around with, unless you invited Shawn and Derrick along.”

“So, you have a thing for those two,” the young lady spoke with a grin on her face.

“Maybe,” JT replied, looking at his reflection in the computer screen, noticing that his eyes were glowing.  “I—I gotta go.”

“You gotta go?  Class isn’t over yet,” the young woman said as she looked around.

“Sorry, but I gotta get out of here,” JT replied as he got up from the computer desk quickly.  “I’ll catch this up sometime later on.”

“John,” the young woman said as she looked around again as JT rushed out of the room with his things and then he was gone.

Down the Hall

Why in the hell are my eyes glowing?  I’m not using my powers and I’m not sensing anything—anything that I’m aware of at least.  What’s going on around this place?  Did I unknowingly use my psychic powers to get Darla to confess about what goes on between her and her so-called friends, when they think no one is watching?  Right now, if that’s the case, I can’t worry about that now.  I just hope no one else noticed my eyes glowing the way they were.

“John Poole,” I heard behind me as I turned around quickly, unaware that no one was there as I saw a strange man, standing there watching me like I was crazy.

“Who are you?”  I asked, watching the man, trying to mind tap him, but nothing happened.  “What is it that you want?”

“It’s him,” another man said as the first one moved quickly as things happened too fast that I couldn’t lash out with my psychokinetic powers the way I wanted to and then everything went black.

Sometime Later – An Unknown Location

“Where the hell am I!?”  JT screamed, struggling to get free of the bonds on his wrists, arms and legs.  “What in the hell is going on around here?”

“So, I see you’ve awakened Mr. Poole,” someone spoke in the area as JT tried to look around, but couldn’t because it seemed his head was strapped in place.

“Who in the hell are you?  What in the hell is going on?  Why am I strapped down like this?”  JT asked, struggling to get free of the bounds on his body again.

“You are here because there are demons in you,” the man spoke as he came into view next to JT.

“What in the hell are you talking about?  There are no demons in me!”  JT screamed, continuing to struggle with no success.

“Your denial of that fact doesn’t mean it’s the truth,” the man said with a smile on his face.  “Once the demons have left your spirit, then you’ll be released from here.”

“I am not a demon!”  JT screamed.

“I didn’t say you were a demon, I said you had demons within you,” the man said as he looked at JT closely.  “There, I can smell the demons in you… The demons are deep in your soul.”

“What kind of demons do I have in me?”  JT asked, moving his eyes to look at the man.

“You’re gay, are you not?”  The man asked.

“And your point,” JT said, struggling more.

“That’s the demon in you.  You were not born or brought up to be that way,” the man stated with a frown on his face as he turned away from JT.  “I’ll be back later on.”

“Let me fucking go!”  JT screamed, doing his best to get free, still having no such luck.

“You can go, once that demon is no longer in you,” the man said with a smile as he waved and then walked out of the room.

What in the hell is going on around here?  Why in the hell am I here?  Where the hell is here?  I shouldn’t be strung up like this!  Why can’t I figure out where I am?  I’ve been trying, but it’s like my mind keeps hitting a blocked wall.  Speaking of blocked walls, why can’t I read minds right now?

What’s going on with my powers?  It’s like my powers have stopped working or something is inhibiting them.  Without my powers, it seems I’m stuck in this place, wherever the hell this place is.  Are my powers being inhibited or what?  My psychic powers aren’t working and I can’t seem to cast a spell either.  Hell, even my innate magical powers don’t seem to be working either.  I can’t seem to do anything at all.  There’s no energy around me to morph, there’s nothing I can touch to absorb, mainly because I’m strung up to this damn bed, like some damn mental patient, getting ready for damn shock thera…

No, is that it?  What in the hell is going on?  Am I in a mental health facility some place?  Is that why I’m strung up to the bed like this?  I’ve only seen straps like this in a mental hospital, mainly in Georgia Regional.  Am I in Georgia Regional again?  Hmmm, why would I be in Georgia Regional?

Okay John, look at things logically here.  The man said that I’m here because I have a demon in me.  He said me being gay is the demon.  Is this one of those places I heard about in Jax, about how people were sending their kids to get cured of being gay?  What in gay hell is this shit here?

“Hello again,” I heard as I tried to see who was near me, being that I can’t sense a damn thing.

“It’s been a few days since I last saw you.  I wonder if you still have all that fight in you now,” the person said as he moved closer to the bed as I recognized the man from earlier that had grabbed me at school.

“Who are you?”  I asked, trying to focus on the man.  “What do you want?  Why am I here?”

“Who I am is none of your concern faggot.  I want to get that faggot demon spirit out of you.  You are here because you are the scum of the Earth and everything about you goes against our Lord and Savior!”  The man screamed, pounding his fist down on the bed, dangerous close to my head.

Oh hell no, this fool is a nutcase.  I gotta get out of here and quick.  If I don’t, these fools are going to try to brainwash me or kill me, whichever happens first.  Hell, if I’m not me, living as a straight man, I might as well be dead.

“So, why are you gay?  Why do you against our Lord and Savior?”  The man asked, looking down at me.  “Going against our Lord and Savior in this way is a great sin.  Do you want your soul going to hell because of your sinful ways?”

“You sin just as much as I do,” I said, wishing I could mind-zap this guy, but nothing happened.

What’s going on with my powers?  Why am I not able to zap this damn man?  Why am I not able to body-slide out of here?

“You pathetic piece of… You’re going to lie there and accuse me of your sins!  How dare you!  I am not like you, damn you!”  The man screamed, slapping me across the face.  “Blasphemy!”

“I don’t think so!”  I screamed, trying to tap into my sacred power as Legacy Saturn, but nothing happened.  What the hell!

“You are a blasphemer!”  The man screamed, slapping me across the face again.  “You are a homosexual piece of…”

“Stop,” I heard someone say as I tried to look in the direction of the voice.  “You need to leave here now.”

“Sir, I was just starting to…” the man said as the other man shook his head.

“You were starting to leave here,” the man said with a crooked smile on his face.  “I will take things over from here.  Send in number two.”

“Yes sir,” the man said with a frown.  “I’ll send him right in.”

“Thank you,” the other man spoke as he walked around the bed where I could completely see him.

Who in the hell is this guy?  I have no recollection of who he is.  I’ve never seen this man before I woke up.  So, who in the hell is he?  I thought I knew about all of those religious fanatics out there in the world, but I guess this one got past me.  I would like to know how he was able to stop my powers from working and how they are keeping me here now?

Does this guy, these people here know about my powers?  How would they know?  Have they been watching me or something?  Since they found me at school, have they been following me around or what?  It’s just very odd that my powers aren’t working like they should be and I get caught like this, not able to get free.  What in the hell is going on?

Since I woke up, I’ve been trying to get myself free of these damn straps, but my telekinesis aren’t working and I’ve been trying to make contact with someone, anyone that can get me out of here, but nothing so far.  If my mind-call is being heard, I don’t know by who and I have no proof, being that I’m still here, wherever the hell here is.

My biggest question of all is, why aren’t my powers working?  The last thing I remember, before waking up here, was being at school, talking to Darla when I noticed my eyes were glowing.  Why were my eyes glowing then?  Was that a sign that I was in danger, since those men grabbed me right after that incident… Was that a sign of my impending danger or what?

What’s going on in this place, wherever the hell this place is?  This place doesn’t look like it has any kind of technology to dampen or block me from using my powers.  So, how is it that my powers aren’t working right now, when I desperately need them to?

“So, to take up from where my partner left off,” he said, motioning with his hand as I heard a door open somewhere in the room and next I heard footsteps.  “Why are you gay?  What happened that made you choose the ways that go against our Lord and Savior?”

“What made you choose against life and love?”  I asked, waiting for the guy to answer that question.

“I didn’t choose life and love, I chose the right way, the way of our Lord and Savior,” the man replied, smiling strangely at me.

“I think you chose wrong,” I said as he shook his head and then pointed down at me.

“I think you’re not in your right mind,” he said as I felt something cold on my feet as the feeling moved up my legs, settling at my groin, around my dick.  “I believe that to be the reason you went against our Lord and Savior.”

“Why am I cold?”  I asked, not able to feel my legs.

“Just a little bit of ice therapy,” he replied with a smile.  “This is a way to help you feel at one with the Lord.  Once you have no feeling in your body… Once you let go of the flesh, you can be one with him in spirit.”

What in the hell?  They’re trying to freeze me to death!  I—I can’t take too much cold.  I—I’ll go stiff and I’ll be stuck for a long while.  I—I gotta raise my body temperature quick, before it’s too late!  I—I need heat!

“I—I ned heat,” I said, feeling the cold feeling on my arms and on my chest as my teeth clattered.

“No, you need our Lord and Savior to save you from the demons within you.  Open your heart, soul and mind and let our Lord save you,” he said as my body felt numb.

Oh God, they’re going to kill me with this damn cold.  I need some heat.  What can I do to generate heat, since my powers aren’t working… If I don’t do something quick, I won’t be able to walk, run or anything to get away from this place, when I actually do get free of this damn bed.  I need some heat!

“You stay here and think about your life, your choices and actions and I’ll return later on,” the man said as he waved and then walked out of the room.

Oh God, help me!  I—I can’t live through this.  I need some heat!

‘I need help!  I need someone to help me!’  I mentally called out, hoping someone heard my mind-call.  ‘Donna, A’Mora, Brett, Kayla, anybody!’

Please God, please get me out of this.  I can’t withstand this cold for too much longer.  If I don’t do something quick, there won’t be anything left of me.  Why am I in this mess in the first place?  How did I let these guys get the drop on me like this?  Please… Someone help me!  Before I knew it, everything had gone black again.

Jacksonville, FL – X-Ternals’ Compound – The Command Center

Joey’s POV

It’s been almost a month since I’ve seen JT since I’ve been here.  What in the world is going on around this place?  Why hasn’t he come back here?  He knows I’m here, waiting for him, so why isn’t he here with me?  We haven’t been alone together, not since he left the tour back in August, after all the crap with that evil creep Marek.  He knows I only agreed to come here, so that we could spend some time together, before I have to head back into the studio to work.  I can’t spend all of my downtown here, waiting for him to come back.

“Hey Joey,” I heard Hank’s voice as I turned around to see him walking into the room.

“Hello Hank,” I replied as he smiled and then waved.

“Are you okay?”  He asked, looking at me strangely.

“Not really.  I’m here, but my boyfriend is nowhere to be seen,” I replied as he frowned.  “Why am I here, but my boyfriend isn’t?  Why isn’t he here with me?”

“I don’t know man,” Hank replied as the door to the room opened as A’Mora walked into the room, saw us and then turned around quickly and headed back out.

“What was that all about?”  I asked as he sighed.

“I don’t know, why are you asking me?”  He asked, looking down.

“She’s you’re friend, that’s why I’m asking.  So why did she come in and then leave like that?”  I asked.

“I don’t know man,” he replied as I shook my head.

“Sure you don’t,” I said, getting up.  “I’m going back home.  When JT decides to come back here, let him know where I went.”

“Joey… Come on man, don’t go,” Hank said as he grabbed my hand.

“Why shouldn’t I go?”  I asked.

“I—I don’t have an answer for that,” Hank replied as I shook my head again and then walked out of the room, heading to the place I had been staying in this crazy place as I heard Hank talking.  “Damn, JT has the worst luck with guys.  I wonder where he could be anyway.  Is he hiding out in Limbo or what?”

Sometime Later – Someplace Else – An Unknown Location

“Mr. Poole… Mr. Poole, wake up,” I heard someone say as I felt something wet on my face and then I felt the liquid dribbling down the side of my face.  “That’s right faggot, wake up!”

“What’s going on?”  I asked, trying to look around as my whole body felt numb.  I couldn’t feel anything; it was like I was disconnected from my body.

“It’s about time that you came to.  You’ve been out for three days,” the person said as I tried to remember what was going on.  I’ve been out for three days, so that means I’ve been here, wherever the hell here is for almost a week now.  “Did you have a spiritual revelation?  Did you speak with our Lord and Savior?”

“Let me go,” I said, trying to move my arms, but I couldn’t feel them.  What in the hell is going on?

“Tell me about Kevin,” the person said.

“Let me go,” I said again, trying to activate my psionic powers to mind-zap the person, but nothing happened, yet again.

“Tell me about Randy,” the person spoke, moving closer to the bed as I saw that it was the person that tried to goad me into a fight the last time I was conscious.  “Tell me about Dennis.”

“Let me go!”  I snapped as he smiled.

“Tell me about Alfonso,” he said as I figured out what was going on and who was behind all of this.  I can’t believe this.  Why would she do this to me?

“Who are those people?”  I asked, seeing if I could play this to my liking.

“You know who those men are,” he replied as I tried more to activate my powers.

“I don’t know who those people are,” I replied as he frowned.  “You’re the one calling out names.  How am I supposed to know who you’re talking about?”

“You should know those names.  Those are the names of your boyfriends,” he said as I closed my eyes.

“I don’t have any boyfriends, that’s gay,” I said with a frown.  “Boyfriends are for fags.”

“Knowing that you’ve laid with those men, the way you should’ve laid with a woman, how does that make you feel?”  He asked.

“It makes me feel sick to my stomach,” I replied, hoping this would get a reaction from him to let me go.  “Just the thought of a man touching me, it sickens me deep to my soul.”

“As it should,” he said with a smile.

‘A’Mora, Brett, Anybody!  Donna!  Pamela!  Ashley!’  I mentally called out, hoping someone would hear me.

I’ve been gone for almost a week.  Someone has to know that I’m missing!  What’s being said about me being gone?  If who I think, did this, she has some explaining to do!  How could she do this to me?  How could she let this happen?  Now that I think about things, I’m certain that she’s behind all of this!

She had to cast a spell on me, to make my powers stop working.  I’m sure she knows about the spell that Grandma used to knock my powers out when I was a child, so I bet that’s why I’m powerless now.  The only way to counter that damn spell is for her to reverse it or for Grandma to undo it.  Being that Grandma’s up in age and don’t practice using her magic anymore, she probably wouldn’t be able to undo it, even if she knew about it.  What am I going to do?

‘JT, can you hear me?’  I mentally heard in my mind.

Okay, it’s official!  I must be losing my damn mind.  Why in the hell am I hearing Kevin’s voice in my head?  This must be some weird kind of brainwashing of some kind.  Why am I hearing the voice of someone I was just asked about?

‘JT, can you hear me?’  I mentally heard the voice in my mind again.

‘Kevin, is that you?’  I mentally asked, hoping I wasn’t losing my mind for real, but then again, I’ve been in this place for only God knows, maybe I am crazy now.

‘You’re not crazy buddy, we’ve been looking for you for days,’ I heard as I opened my eyes, trying to look around.

‘Who is this we?’  I mentally asked.

‘A’Mora, Pamela, Ashley and me,’ I mentally heard.

‘Come find me now!  I’m close to death!’  I mentally screamed out.

‘We got you buddy,’ I mentally heard as I saw the person that stood over me float up to the ceiling.

“What in God’s name is going on?”  The person asked.

“I think it’s time for me to be going home!”  I snapped as I heard a door in the room open and then I saw Pamela and Ashley come into view, both of them standing there with mean looks on their faces.

“What in the world is going on in here?”  Pamela asked, rushing over to where I was.

“Timmy, are you okay?”  Ashley asked, moving to the other side of the bed as she started undoing the bounds on my arms as Pamela undid the other.

“I need some heat!”  I screamed, my throat burning as I needed something to drink.

“Calm down Timmy,” Pamela said as she helped me up off the bed as I saw Kevin walk into the room with A’Mora.

“A’Mora,” I said, looking at her.  “There’s a spell on me!”

“We know,” A’Mora replied with a frown on her face.

“Can you undo it?”  I asked, looking at her, while keeping an eye on the guy that floated above us.  “Where in the hell are we?”

“Twin City buddy,” Kevin replied with a frown as he looked down.

“I’m in Twin City,” I said, looking around the room.  “I’m in Twin City Georgia?”

“Yeah,” Kevin answered, sighing as I shook my head.

“A’Mora, can you undo the spell that’s on me?”  I asked.

“I’m trying JT.  Can you feel your powers?”  A’Mora asked, looking at me.

“No, I can’t!”  I snapped, shaking my head.

“It took all four of us, pooling our mental powers together, just to telepathically find you.  That must be one helluva spell,” Kevin said as I shook my head.

“Oh yeah, it’s one helluva spell and once I’m done with the person that cast…”  I said as Pamela and Ashley looked at me.

“Timmy, what are you going to do?”  Pamela asked.

“I’m going to kill her!”  I snapped as A’Mora’s eyes widened.

“No, you can’t do that!”  Ashley snapped, shaking her head.

“Get this damn spell off of me, now!”  I snapped as A’Mora’s eyes glowed brightly as her hair changed color and then I was able to feel my powers again.  “Oh yeah, that’s what I’m talking about!”

“Oh no,” Pamela said as Ashley, Kevin and A’Mora shook their heads.
